Welcome to Onyx Oven. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform and the services provided by Onyx Oven, including ordering custom cakes, pastries, artisanal bread, booking classes, and catering services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our online platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or our site.
2. Services Provided
Onyx Oven provides a range of artisan bakery and cafe services, including:
- Custom cake design, celebration cakes, and wedding cakes.
- Cupcakes, pastries, and artisanal bread creations.
- Coffee and tea services.
- Catering for events.
- Themed cake decorating classes.
- Gluten-free and vegan options available upon request.
3. Online Orders and Payments
When placing an order through our online platform:
- All product prices are as displayed on our site and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement, unless otherwise agreed for large catering or custom wedding cake orders.
- For custom orders, a deposit may be required to confirm your booking, with the balance due upon completion or prior to collection/delivery. Specific deposit terms will be communicated at the time of inquiry.
- We accept various payment methods as indicated on our site.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy varies depending on the type of service:
- For Standard Orders (non-custom): Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up or delivery time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund.
- For Custom Cakes, Wedding Cakes, and Catering: Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your individual agreement or quote due to the custom nature and preparation time involved. Deposits for these services are generally non-refundable if cancellation occurs within a specified timeframe, typically 7-14 days prior to the event.
- For Classes: Cancellations for classes made at least 48 hours prior to the class start time will receive a full refund or can be rescheduled. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another person.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original method of payment.
5. Allergen Information and Dietary Requirements
While we offer gluten-free and vegan options and take great care in preparing all our products, our facility handles gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, and other common allergens. We cannot guarantee a complete absence of cross-contamination in our kitchen. Please communicate any severe allergies or dietary requirements clearly when placing your order.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, and software, is the property of Onyx Oven and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content from our site without our express written permission.
